Organization News
There will be a meeting place, and there was a delay in me handing out the flyers. I needed money and
I'm ofc low income so I have limited resources for the flyers, but the good nws is that I have tried handing out 2 of them
at the mesa public library last week, so I will put them somewhere there where you have access to them. I will meet you at
the mesa convention center on W center. We can meet in the parking lot.
October 29th, 2005 at superstition springs mall, a valley metro driver assaulted a passenger
he claimed had spat on him 2
weeks prior. This driver needs to grow up for God's sake! He'd
rushed off the bus (#30 W). This passenger had his three year
old daughter with him aqnd she had seen this crap. The police were called. This fight
was uncalled for , and I hope charges will be filed. MAN, common sense ain't part of the Valley Metro
system is it.
In the near future, I will hand out flyers about where
to meet and when and what time.
These will be distributed throughout the cities of Mesa, Phoenix, Tempe and anywhere
else I can think of. During the meeting, we can discuss the full plan.
There are reasons why I feel the system needs to be boycotted and
they are danmed good ones, like:
- They're always late, and have messed up excuses as to why.
- They left some poor woman out on the number 30 route for 90 minutes! They never sent an
other buses to take over.
- They cosistantly lie when cofronted on the subject.
- They won't repair broken buses, so they can create their lame excuses.
- People could and have died from heat exhaustion while waiting for them, and all they do is
offer ways to stay cool while waiting (as if it were possible). They also blame the passenger if they are late, claiming we
weren't out there on time, or didn't read the schedule right...BULL CRAP!!
- They won't run their buses on Sunday in Mesa and won't let the 112 route run on Country club
drive on Saturday. Oh yeah, that morman crap won't fly with me.
- They won't make people accountable for swearing
- They failed us miserably and we deserve better.
We pay to ride these monsters and I'll e danmed if I'll allow the bus system to treat me like
dirt. Nor will I stand for them doing it to anyone else. They won't do a thing to secure funds to improve their system, so
why should we ride?
